On Senior Day in Grantsville the Cowboys completed their region season with an 18-2 victory over Ogden. The win gives Grantsville the Region 11 championship, the first region title by any boys program since the Cowboys were moved up to Class 3A eight years ago.
The Cowboys were led on the mound by TJ Sieh as he picked up the win. Kellan Rhoades came in and closed the game out in the fifth. Tyson Hutchins led the hit parade with a single, a double, and a home run. Payeton Reed also recorded three hits on the day and Ryley Boman had two hits and scored three runs in the game.
It was the final regular season home game for seniors: Ryley Boman, Benji Cole, TJ Sieh, Jake Clonts, & Alex Childs.
The Cowboys will be in action on Wednesday May 6 as they travel to Delta to face the Rabbits and tune up for the state tournament. As region champions, Grantsville will be hosting one of four pods in the first & second rounds of the playoffs on Saturday May 9. Come on out and enjoy a great day of baseball at Cowboy Field beginning at 10 AM.

I don't think you have any idea how many people, who've never seen a game, are rooting for you ... and it's simply because of who you are and the lives you lead off the baseball field.
Thanks for representing Grantsville well and for making all the little boys out there look forward to the day they can wear that uniform and be like YOU.
