Grantsville scored 3 runs in the top of the seventh to take a 9-4 lead into the bottom half, but couldn't hold the lead and dropped their first league game of the year 10-9 to the Trojans.
The Cowboys controlled the game with the Trojans for 6 1/2 innings but couldn't close the game out. Tyson Hutchins, Andrew Nelson, & Payeton Reed led the Cowboys offensively with 2 hits each. Jake Clonts had a good day at the plate with 2-rbi's and a sacrifice bunt.
The Cowboys resume league action Thursday as they travel to beautiful Lindquist Field for a 3:30 game against the Ben Lomond Scots.
