Grantsville showed up at Lindquist Field to face the Ben Lomond with a chip on their shoulder and went out and took out their frustrations on the Scots in a 29-1 beating.
Ben Lomond was on their 3rd or 4th game of the week and it caught up to them. Grantsville put up seven runs in the first, six in the second, and ten in the third to take a 23-1 lead. The JV finished off the last 2 innings to complete the victory.
Offensively, Andrew Nelson led the way for the Cowboys with 3 hits including a triple a double and 5-rbi's. Ryley Boman, Alex Childs, Kort Fonger, & Payeton Reed also recorded three hits on the day.
TJ Sieh started on the hill and went 3 strong innings to pick up the win. Andrew Nelson closed the last 2 innings allowing no hits while recording four strikeouts.
The Cowboys are back at it immediately as they travel to Garland to face the Bear River Bears in a 3:30 start.
