Coming off a very emotional win, the Cowboys found themselves in a real pitchers duel against Ben Lomond on Tuesday. Alex Childs was too much for the Scots, as he threw a two hitter and recorded 10 strikeouts in picking up the win on the mound. Grantsville got on the board in the fourth when Childs reached on an error, Kort Fonger laid down a sacrifice bunt and Jake Campbell drove him in with a run scoring single. Trailing 1-0 in the sixth, Ben Lomond mounted a rally as the first two batters reached base. Lead off hitter, Veliz hit a sharp line drive to left field where Lincoln Kelley made a big catch. Both runners ran on the sharp hit ball and the Cowboys thwarted the rally by turning it into a triple play to get out of the inning. Grantsville rode the momentum from that play into their half of the sixth as they posted 2 insurance runs. Jake Campbell once again delivered the big hit with a 2-run double down the left field line. That would be all the Cowboys & Childs would need as he retired the Scots in order in the seventh, striking out the clean up hitter for the third time to end the game.
The Cowboys will take some time off for spring break before returning to action one week from today, on Tuesday April 14, as they travel to Ogden to take on the Tigers.

Is the Odgen game at Linquist or just at the high school field?

As far as I know, we are playing at the High School field.
