Juan Diego took command early with their bats as they pounded out 16 hits including 10 for extra bases as they all but ended the Region 11 race with an 18-5 whitewashing of Grantsville.
The Cowboys bats were alive as well as they recorded 7 hits of their own paced by doubles by Kellan Rhoades & Taylor Matthews and a pair of triples by Andrew Nelson.
Grantsville took the early lead in the first on a walk by Tyson Hutchins. Hutchins then stole second and was brought home on a two out hit by Matthews.
The story of the game was the inability to control the Juan Diego bats as they put up 4 runs in the bottom of the first, 4 more in the second, 7 in the third and finally 3 in the fourth to end the game early via the 10-run rule.
Grantsville will continue its quest for a second place finish as they travel to Ben Lomond on Monday for a 3:30 start.
