The following will be the schedule for the playoff games Saturday May 9th in Grantsville. As the teams are finalized they will be updated.
10:00 am Emery vs Judge
1:00 pm Grantsville vs Delta
4:00 pm Grantsville vs TBD
4:00 pm TBD vs TBD @ Deseret Peak Complex
Plan on coming out to the ballpark on Saturday for some exciting playoff baseball. The games will feature some great baseball talent. For Emery they sport one of the top pitchers in Class 3A in Brett Mecham. Judge Memorial is the defending Class 3A champions and are led by a cast of superstars. Keenyn Walker may possibly be the most talented player and best athlete in the entire state. He is a potential high round draft pick in this years MLB draft and has already signed with a school in Arizona. AJ Carmen started the state championship game as a freshman and is one of the top pitchers in the state. He has signed to play at Washington State and could also be drafted. Court Zollinger will play at UVU next year and local hero, Matt Gochis will come back to Tooele County to compete for the Bulldogs. Not to mention your Grantsville Cowboys.
It should be an exciting day at the ballpark, as the girls are hosting as well. They are scheduled to play at noon. Come on down and spend the day in the sun and support your local teams. IT WILL BE A GREAT DAY TO BE A COWBOY!!!
