STREAK ENDS

Grantsville welcomed the Ben Lomond Scots to town and came away with a resounding 21-1 victory to end their 5-game losing streak.

The Cowboys jumped on the Scots early scoring 11 runs in the first inning. The highlights of the inning were back to back home runs by Andrew Nelson and Skyler Cloward. Lincoln Kelley would add the third home run of the inning as the Cowboys brought 15 hitters to the plate in the inning. Grantsville would also record 9 doubles on the day by Nelson, Connor Turner, Kelby Landon (2), Drew Sutton, Kelbey Fisher, Dalen Erickson, Bridger Boman, & Quinton Smith.

Kelbey Fisher went the distance to pick up the win. The highlight of his outing was when he was able to team up with his younger brother, Ky, behind the plate to record the final 3 outs versus the Scots.

Grantsville will look to keep their playoff hopes alive when they host the 2-time defending state champion Juan Diego Soaring Eagles on Thursday. Come on out and cheer on your Cowboys and see your Seniors in their final home game appearance. First pitch is set for 3:30.
