The Cowboys allowed the Grizzlies to hang around & then ended up falling 3-2.
Grantsville rapped out 7 hits but couldn't get the one they needed to break the game open. They left 9 guys on base. Seven of them in scoring position. Skyler Cloward had the lone extra base hit in the game for Grantsville, a double with 2 outs in the 1st.
Dalen Erickson got the start on the hill & went 5 innings leaving with the game tied 2-2. Brayden Hamatake came on in relief and suffered the loss.
Grantsville will be back in action on Saturday as they travel to Kaysville to take on the unbeaten & 5th ranked Davis Darts in a non league doubleheader. Game times are set for 11:00 AM & 1:00 PM.
